This by far my favourite time of the year to be glued to what is HOT on the runway.Yes yes yes… I totally LOVE seeing the fashion and the make-up, but my eyes are trained to look at that HAIR!This by far my favourite time of the year to be glued to what is HOT on the runway.Yes yes yes… I totally LOVE seeing the fashion and the make-up, but my eyes are trained to look at that HAIR!OK and I also look at these Bejeweled Boots by Giuseppe Zanotti ?????Now back to the hair……Bejeweled Boots by Giuseppe ZanottiDesigner Georges Hobeika hair by paceeluceThe theme that I can see is loads of middle parts and the wet look is still around but with more shape than we saw in 2021.Georges Hobeika’s hair stylist Wassim Morkos from @paceelucecreated the most stunning sleek soft finger waves with a clean middle part half up half down look.Designer Frank Sorbier’s hair stylist from Alexandre De ParisThis look could easily be re created blending ½ UNITE Blow and set lotion with ½ UNITE Smooth & Shine. Use our Carbon Curve Comb and Long Waving clamps. The only change I would make from creating a soft wave to a sleeked wave is to use the tail of our detail comb to drag the wave up into the clamp. Finish with our NEW bamboo edge brush/comb.Frank Sorbier’s hair stylist from Alexandre De Paristook the classic French Roll and again changed the texture into a sleeked shiny finish. I love that the front waves are moulded into large waves. To create this look I would still use my unique French Roll technique by creating a scalp braid down the back as a pin cushion and folding the hair over using a bungee (You soooooooo do not want to go criss crossing bobby pins up the back). I then would definitely use my styling needle to wrap the hair and build the shape. For the front waves I would use our Curve Comb and Detail comb and tame all those little left over strays with our NEW bamboo edge brush/comb.What a stunning way to evolve the French Roll.ValantinoValantinowas all about the super simple middle part sleeked low knot. This look is absolutely stunning when it’s created well. Who agrees sometimes the simple looks can be just as challenging?HOT TIP…… Never try this look without doing a killer directional blow dry using our curve comb followed by the NEW bamboo edge brush/comb to tame all the lumps and bumps at the roots, Then use our Timesaver brush on the mid lengths and ends to smooth smooth smooth. Tie off with bungee tape to secure the ponytail (This gives you a seamless finish with no bobby pins needed).Smooth over the hair line with our NEW bamboo edge brush/comb.Give the tail a really good brush with our NEW bamboo boar bristle paddle brush before you twist to form the knot, this will get all the hair running in the same direction to give you a even and sleek finish.I had to finish off this blog with sharing Victor & Rolf…..WOWWWWWW talk about brining back the shoulder pads! This time the hair had texture and I LOVED the shape Hairstylist Sid Hayes created for this show.To re create this look the look apply UNITE Liquid Volume to the roots and lift dry in with the carbon Bigtail comb. Then use our Bamboo Boar Bristle Paddle brush to dry in UNITE Elevate mouse. Add crimp texture at the roots with the HTZ (Please don’t miss that step)HOT TIP when you shape the sides over the ears hold in place with a ½ playing card.Hope you were as inspired by Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week as I wasHappy StylingLorna x
